Long exposure shot capturing the unique Flatiron building in New York. Love how the cool colors of the passing buses, taxis and cars together with the window-shops contrast with the warm colors of the buildings.
The Flatiron building is another quintessential NY icon. Originally named the Fuller Building, it is a triangular 22-story steel-framed landmarked building siting on a triangular block formed by Fifth Avenue, Broadway, and East 22nd Street, with 23rd Street in Manhattan. Completed in 1902, the name "Flatiron" derives from its resemblance to a cast-iron clothes iron and it was designated a New York City landmark in 1966, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989.
